  1. A.AUTHOR VISIT (K-3): A small group presentation, one or two classrooms at a time. Presentation may include making monster costumes (material provided), screening of my book preview, a reading of Floridius Bloom and the Planet of Gloom with a keynote presentation, audience participation and discussion afterwards.

  2. B.Lets Put On A Play or Reader’s Theatre: This one is perfect for any school’s budget. Why? Because it’s free. I’ve made available - on this very website - both a Reader’s Theatre  and a Play script of FLORIDIUS BLOOM & THE PLANET OF GLOOM. Check out these links:

  4. C.Programs for older students include by are not limited to...
    - 80 min. writer’s workshop focusing on the publishing experience.
    - 7-day creativity exercise. (Including lesson plan, author visit & theatrical production.)

With a degree in theatre from IL State University and hard-earned experience teaching drama to 5 through 8-year-olds, I’ve transformed my picture book into a both a reader's theatre and a children's play, the premier of which was held at Aspen School in Vernon Hills, IL.
